WATERTOWN — Samaritan Medical Center acquired a $100,000 personal donation towards its new cancer center this vacation season.
Washington Summit Associates’ companions Michael E. Lundy and Dr. David P. Rechlin made the donation to assist fund the Walker Center for Cancer Care undertaking. The center is slated to open in October.
“We both believe strongly in the project and how it will help so many people here in Northern New York,” Mr. Lundy stated in a public assertion. “Like so many other people, we both have been touched by cancer. Both of my parents are cancer survivors, and Dr. Rechlin cares for patients affected by cancer in his practice all the time.”
In 2012, Washington Summit Associates donated 18 acres of land for the event of Samaritan Summit Village on adjoining property.
